Today marks our official first day in our first great lake today- Lake Ontario. There was a lot of downtime today, not much happening. Lots of working in workbooks, coloring, reading- which isn't a bad thing!

Kingston, ON to Makatewis Island, ON
Last night, I tried to find good places to go in Thousand Islands and couldn't find any, so we decided to skip it and head to Trenton today. All of the posts we saw said don't miss Thousand Islands, but they didn't mention what to do. They said cruise the area. We figured we'd rather get started on the Trent-Severn Waterway and spend an extra day or 2 in a place we like there or on the Georgian Bay instead of backtracking.
