South Manitou Island to Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin- Crossing Lake Michigan

Ben woke up at 6 and pulled the anchor. I took some benadryl and stayed in bed, hoping to sleep most of the day (read: crossing the lake) away. The kids joined me and we fell back to sleep.

Moose went up to be with Ben after he woke up while the girls and I stayed asleep until about 10 am, which turned out to be 11 am because we crossed into the central time zone. We only had about 2 hours left to get to the marina for the night and the fetch was much more tolerable!

I made some snacks/breakfast and we all watched as we came into the channel at Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. This marks another state off our list and our first time in Wisconsin.

We tied up at SkipperBud's Quarterdeck Marina in Sturgeon Bay, which is in Door County, Wisconsin. This peninsula used to be known as Devil's Door because it was the doorway to rough waters o the lake, but now it's just Door County and is supposed to be a great place to visit and explore.

Ben hardly slept last night with our beamy anchorage, so he took a nap while I took the kids to the pool. Since we changed to Central Time, the sun sets at 8:30 instead of 9:30! So, we took advantage of that and got to bed before 9.
